The Red Lion at Badlesmere was built in 1546, during the reign of Henry VIII. It was originally used as a farm dwelling and became an inn in 1728.

Here at our family run free house we offer a fully gluten free menu, with a relaxed pub atmosphere.

During the winter months you can cosy up by one of our open fires, enjoying a pint of real ale and a hearty feast. In the warmer months, make the most of the sunshine and spend the whole day outside in our beautiful country garden.

Your four legged friends are also welcome at the Red Lion Badlesmere in the garden area & the restaurant. We ask that you please keep them on a lead and clean up after them.
